𝐍𝐀𝐂𝐒𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

As part of efforts to strengthen youth participation in peace and security initiatives, the Commission continues to engage second cycle schools nationwide.

Over 2,300 students engaged at:
* Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS), Koforidua (Eastern Region)
* Holy Family Senior High School, Hamile (Upper West Region)

The engagements provided students with practical insights into the security challenges posed by illicit firearms and the importance of making responsible choices and resist criminal influences. Discussions focused on the impact of gun violence on communities, the legal implications of firearm-related offences and the role of young people in supporting safer schools and communities.

The Commission commends the efforts of the Regional Heads for advancing youth-centred approaches to peace and security as NACSA continues to invest in the next generation of leaders to promote a gun-violence-free Ghana.
